Some of you have asked about the status of the Barnes Road and when it will be reopened.
Since the road has washed out four times in the last 20 years, the Town Board decided to try to get the road improved, rather than just repaired, while funds are available to help with the costs associated with such an improvement.
We will be meeting with FEMA next week and hope to be able to get the ball rolling in that direction.
