Town Clean Up Day – Sept 28, 2024 9am-1pm: Town of Superior Clean Up DaySaturday, September 28, 2024 – 9am to 1pmSuperior Town Hall, 4917 S State Rd 35 ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED: Hazardous waste (chemical cleaners, enamel paints, varnishes, automotive fluids, pesticides, herbicides, & medical waste), concrete, yard waste, food and animal waste. PAYMENTS: The Town of Superior will be taking payment for upholstered furniture, mattresses, box springs and hide-a-beds. Payments may be made in cash or by check made out to “Town of Superior.” All other charges will be paid directly to Afterlife Electronics, either by cash or check. Please plan accordingly. SCRAP METAL: Scrap metal can be dropped off free-of-charge during Clean-Up Day and will be donated to the Town of Superior Fire Department for fundraising purposes. Questions? Election Tips & Reminders

TIPS AND REMINDERS FOR TUESDAY’S ELECTION:

  • The polls are open at the Town Hall from 7am to 8pm. Polls close promptly at 8pm.  If you are in line at that time, you will be allowed to cast your ballot.  If you arrive at 8:01pm, you will not.
  • To help speed up the process for you, remember when you arrive to have your proof of identification (usually a driver’s license) ready to show the inspectors, and clearly state your name and address at the poll book table when you enter,EVEN IF THE PERSON WORKING THE POLL BOOKS KNOWS YOU.  There may be election observers, or the election inspectors may not know your name, even if you think they do, etc. (If you do not have proof of identification, you will be allowed to cast a provisional ballot, but it will only be counted if you return with your photo ID.)
  • Also, please be patient and courteous when at the polling location.  Our election inspectors have a tough job and work hard at moving you and your neighbors through the process as efficiently as possible.
  • You can help by not engaging the election inspectors in conversations, and by visiting with your neighbors outside of the building.
  • It’s illegal to arrive at the polling location with buttons, flyers, banners, etc. for any candidate or party; please leave them at home or at least 100 feet from the building.  We want to see your smiling face, but not your voting preference.
