PAYMENTS: The Town of Superior will be taking payment for upholstered furniture, mattresses, box springs and hide-a-beds. Payments may be made in cash or by check made out to “Town of Superior.” All other charges will be paid directly to Afterlife Electronics, either by cash or check. Please plan accordingly. SCRAP METAL: Scrap metal can be dropped off free-of-charge during Clean-Up Day and will be donated to the Town of Superior Fire Department for fundraising purposes. Questions? Skywarn Spotter Training Program

The Skywarn Training Program will cover the following topics:

  • The mission of the National Weather Service and how Skywarn Volunteers play an important role.
  • Thunderstorm formation, the meteorological dynamics involved, and what it takes for a storm to produce damaging winds, large hail, and tornados.
  • Thunderstorm detection, or what to look for in spotting severe weather development.
  • Procedures for reporting information to the National Weather Service.
  • Tips to keep you and your family safe during thunderstorms.
